Chinese students staying in Newcastle have received epidemic prevention supplies from their home country

As the UK epidemic grows worse, from April 8th, the Chinese Student Union and student volunteers of Newcastle University conducted a three-day distribution of epidemic prevention materials for Chinese students staying in Newcastle.

According to statistics, a total of 2,229 people have been effectively registered in the Newcastle area in the Manchester Territory Information Registration Form. The person in charge of each collection point has received nearly 2,000 registration information, and the Health Association has actually received and distributed more than 1,700 emergency packages.

There are two versions of the emergency package for students to choose from. Version one: 10 disposable medical masks, 1 KN95 mask, 1 box of Chinese medicine capsules, and epidemic prevention guide (electronic version). Version two: 10 disposable medical masks, 1 pack of disinfectant wipes, epidemic prevention guide (electronic version).

There are four main distribution areas, including Into, the main campus area, the Business School area, Westgate area, and Jesmond area. It covers all student apartments where Chinese students are located, including Verde, Liberty Plaza, The View, St James Point, Newcastle 1, St James House, Vita Strawberry, Vita Westgate, Plummer, etc.
